From the bottom of my heart, I thank my beloved father for offering me this wonderful opportunity to express my love of life, my respect for our earth and my immeasurable sorrow for the animal and plant kingdoms which human madness is resigning to an alarming future. This concern guided my choices towards some songs on this album such as QUERELAS DO BRASIL, PLANETA ÁGUA, PASSAREDO andCAPITÃO in which talented poets talk with sincerity and simplicity about the water, our earth, the seeds, the fertility, the fauna, the flora, the rain forest, our history … Beautiful melodies and fervent Brazilian rhythms might not suggest such important subjects, but the lyrics of these songs are available for you in the booklet of the CD, don’t hesitate in singing them with me!

ESTRELA DA TERRA is a kind of link between nature and the other themes present on this album: love, joy and hope. Thank you, Lucina for offering me the primacy of your AÍ, NO CORAÇÃO. Thank you, Clarice for your incredible talent in arranging the music on this album and for composing your genial LUA DE PARIS.
