About the artist
After being awarded a Gold Medal in the class of François Castet, Alexandre Bernoud studied with Alberto Ponce at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris where he achieved his Diplôme Supérieur d’Exécution as a soloist. Encouraged by several prizes won at international competitions, Alexandre Bernoud became a familiar face at major music festivals, mainly in France, his home country. He is a totally committed artist who runs the gamut of musical experience. In 1990 he created, with his wife Florence, the Duo de Guitares de Lyon.
